MoveMe - the socio-spatial transformation to sustainable mobility behavior

How can we reconcile mobility with climate and environmental goals - not only in the inner city, but also in suburban and rural areas of a region? These questions pose major challenges for society and politics. MoveMe as a social-ecological junior research group, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), is investigating these questions - with an interdisciplinary research team (transport planning, environmental psychology, spatial and environmental planning, social science technology and innovation research) at the TU Dortmund University and the Social Science Research Center Berlin (WZB) as well as on site in the Hannover Region, together with different actors from politics, administration, economy and civil society: For sustainable mobility in the city, suburban as well as rural areas.
